I finally managed to get the bike back together a couple of weeks ago and I thought I'd send you a picture to show how it turned out. To say I'm very pleased with it is an understatement, I think the new badge finishes the bike off perfectly and I cannot imagine anything other than a Kerker on it. I waited 30 years to finally own my KZ.... One thing for sure had to happen, no other pipe would do.... It had to be a Kerker! With the 1.5" comp baffle, P&P head, Keihin 29mm CR Specials, she just sounds beautimuss.... Nothing better then a fine tuned KZ and a Kerker.... installed a 4" IDS Superlight Stainless 4 to 1 system plus stage 3 dyno jet kit with 10 discs, the power difference is unbelievable,very nasty top end power, completely transformed the bike. thank you so much i would not have been able to tune it right with out your exhaust system

Thanks for your support. I had a lot of trouble finding some good slip on mufflers for my Kawasaki without spending a bunch of money. After a year of testing, I found out that pipe length is critical. Your mufflers with the open cones provide the best performance with the stock pipes. Here are the results. Here are some pictures of your 10” SC elite 2” universals on my 2006 Kawasaki ZX14.

decided to make custom made exhaust using disc only system. Disc are 4" inch and i am using only 4 of the disc, which makes for nice sound at high rpm but still quiet at idle. Bike runs like stock but sounds sweet!

How: I cut the old stock muffler end off using a hacksaw right at the header pipe exit weld. There was some additional muffler core in the headpipe which then came out.

The universal 2.5" ID was just a little loose sliding over the header, so I crimped it down to match and sealed the trapp to the header using Permatex 101BR Ultra Copper silcone gasket (local auto parts store). The circular clamp (included) covers all the crimp scratches. For good measure, instead of installing one pin (included), I put on three (at clock points: 10, 12, 4 O'clock), using similar type flat-top screws from a computer hard drive. It's not quite finished until a welder fixes the rear set plates (included) to the muffler.

The Supertrapp came with 12 diffuser discs, but six discs makes for a nice exhaust growl/howl and even power delivery at my 4500 feet elevation. I use eight when hitting the canyons. However, this requires sneaking out of my neighborhood keeping the RPMs below 2,500. Once clear, I let her go!

Pros: Beautiful look & sound. Light weight & fits my bike. Possibly/probably more power throughout powerband. Easy to follow instructions w/diagrams. Cons: Requires aluminum welds for rear set mount

1979 CBX, this bike started out as a bare frame hanging from some rafters. A year of searching and adapting parts has created this blast from the past. Few people today have any idea what it is, but they love to hear these stainless pipes sing. I put it on a dyno at a Harley gathering with the baffles out and rejetted, causing all to drop their jaws when hearing the music at 9500 rpm.

Talk about a sweet Slip-On! I love this pipe. The performance increase was instantly noticable, and that sound! All of my sportbike buddies are jealous! My bike sounds like an f-15 fighter jet !! Also, I've since race prepped this bike, and dropped it twice...pipe held up both times and is still in use today! Awesome!

Hey…..Just wanted to say that having something unique and something that sounds so sweet is a great combination. The sound the SuperTrapp growls out is incredible and unmistakable. Even after riding with it for the past 2 years there’s nothing that sends shivers down my spine quite like the sound and might I add the performance this exhaust gives. I’ll never own anything else! If you don’t have one you don’t know what you’re missing.

Kerker and Kawasaki............ you can't have one without the other!!!!! I've also got an 1981 GPz550, and the 1999 ZRX1100...and they both have Kerker's on them. I wouldn't dream of using anything else.

I have attached a pic of my 2000 ZRX1100 sporting it's KERKER Slip-On and I would just like to say I have never heard a pipe sound so nice and deep. I have had many people comment on how deep it sounds and I would have to say the HP increase was noticed! Previously being a Hindle guy I would have to say Kerker has come a long way in sound and perfomance and before long I should be removing the Slip-On and adding a KERKER full system.
